ABOUT

Hey! I’m Haakon, a Norwegian-American graphic designer who loves old movies, a good bite to eat, and a strong creative challenge. Born and raised in Maryland, I went to college in Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Design (BDes) from Millersville University.

After graduation, I’ve been living in Oslo, Norway, working as a full-time designer at Nortura, Norway’s largest meat and egg supplier and a farmers’ cooperative. There, I create a host of designs for their brands Gilde, PRIOR, and VILTi, that are an integral part of the Norwegian CPG market.

Since my teenage days, I’ve maintained a long career as a freelance designer, making anything from small business logos and album covers to comprehensive branding and packaging for companies both big and small.

I live in downtown Oslo, and am always looking for new people and products to get acquainted with. I design for both Norwegian- and English-speaking clients and markets, and if you’re local to me, I’m available to meet in-person, as well as locally deliver print items or samples.
